Liteloader 1.11/1.10.2/1.9.4/1.8.9, as the name suggests is a 3rd party mod-loader for Minecraft which allows you to load different mods in your game without conflicting with other ones.

Many modifications are utilizing the potential of Liteloader to provide easy modding to fellow Minecrafters. Also, Liteloader is updated periodically to be compatible with latest Mojang Launchers.

Presumably the developers tend to get leisure time on the weekends so in that case they find much feasibility on updating mods according to it. The popular mods like LiteLoader will update in a short span of time because developer spend his precious time in week days as well. You will be able to find the latest released version online right after its release.
