How to install Pixelmon Mod in Minecraft
Windows Operating System
- Download and install Minecraft Forge API according to your game version.
- After installing Forge, run Minecraft at least once to complete its installation.
- Download Pixelmon mod JAR from from the link above.
- Open Minecraft directory (Press WindowsKey+R – Type “%appdata%/.minecraft” and hit Enter)
- Go to Mods folder, move the JAR file there that you just downloaded.
- Open Minecraft, Select Forge profile from Launcher settings and then run the game.
- Forge will complete installation and Start Pixelmon.
Tips and Warnings:
- If you want to install Pixelmon on a server, paste its files in server folder.
- Configuration files can be found in .minecraft/config folder. You can edit block/item IDs there.
- If you are upgrading the mod from previous version, please delete the pixelmon.cfg in your .minecraft/config folder.
- The hotkey for spawning Pokemon is ‘P‘ and [ – ] for toggling.

Guys You have to download the Forge API its for 1.6.4 Remember Not 1.7. Make sure to follow the Description where you download Pixelmon. Next time Read Trust me it works fine
@ Nik theres only a jar version for orge 1.6.4
Download the .jar, open it up. You should have 2 options, client or server. Install the client. Make sure you have run the version you're installing forge to at least once. Next open up your minecraft client. Click 'Create Profile' then choose version Forge1.6.4-(some random numbers here). Run it. Close minecraft and go to your %appdata%. Go to .minecraft. Now you need to go to the 'mods' folder. If you don't have one make one. But make sure it's spelt like this 'mods'. (no apostrophes). Place pixelmon inside there and any other mods you want. TADAAA!
thats cause you have Osx or something like that, not windows.

downloaded it and forge. forge works on its own but as soon as I put in pixelmon stuff it does minecraft sign and then screen turns black how do I fix?
Did you delete META-INF?
what does META-INF do?
You have to make a folder on your desktop. Extract the zipped file into the new folder then move that folder into your mods folder undeneath .minecraft

i have FML and Pixel mon both installed the way t works the FML works but i'm not sure about Pixel mon because it will load FML and the screen puts the Mojang logo on andthen screen goes black and stays that way please help i have 1.5.2 and i thnik i did something wrong.
