Minecraft 1.7 Snapshot 13w36a is released and the update of fall is surfaced by Dinnerbone on Thursday 5th September 2013. Snapshot itself contain numerous bug fixes and some remarkable series of changes in it. There are some more snapshots which are in pipeline at the moment but this one is having some new features.

I don't know how to install this. What is cross-platform jar and what is Windows EXE? I just don't get it.
these are for servers. .exe is for windows it is just a type of file. and .jar is for other platforms like macs. If you have a server you just update it by replacing the old server file with this new one. THIS IS NOT for single player im afraid.
All you have to do to install 13w37a is to change the .jar or .exe file into the versions folder in your .minecraft folder and open Minecraft and make a new profile check Experimental Snapshots choose version 13w37a, save profile and your done!
What if I wanted to create a server with this snapshot, then what?
u nee to open the new luancher select edit profile click enable dev versions and it automaticlly will get the snapshot
Do "create new profile" name it snapshots, check "Allow snapshots" TADA!
